THE DEFENDERS OF STAN episode 18 screened at channel101 NY last night, as part of the New York Independent Television Festival, and i think we got introduced to a whole new group of people.

also, for those of you who attended the screening and got the super secret stan give-away, keep it hush-hush for now, til we figure out how to set up our webstore. or not...tell everyone, and make them jealous. whichever.

THE DEFENDERS OF STAN episode 16 is now online! this makes over an hour and twenty minutes of pure unadulterated Stan for your viewing pleasure. "Stan 16" premiered at channel101 new york on monday, and we have regained first place! this makes our NINTH first place (episodes 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16). that's over half!

the new episode is in our episodes section now. also, we will be putting up all of the production photos to THE BiG HONKIN blog very soon. thanks to everyone who came out and voted.

Why hello again. so, a few things.

-we've finally uploaded some new production stills from LAST months episode to THE BiG HONKIN‘ blog.

-last night, The Defenders Of Stan episode 15 screened at channel101 new york and took second place. fear not, we don't stay out of first place for long.

-episode 15, "terrible twos," has been added to our slightly reworked episodes section.

-i‘ve added The Defenders of Stan theme ringtone from episode 6 (when Super Stan from the Bizarro world gets a call while getting grilled in his bosses office) to the downloads section, because i‘ve been meaning to and just keep forgetting.

-productions stills for THIS episode will be coming soon to the blog, so keep checking.

The Defenders Of Stan Episode 14 screened last night at channel101 NY and took 3rd place. it's now up on our "EPISODES" section, along with a www.thedefendersofstan.com exlusive: an alternate cut, with extended scenes, deleted scenes, and a different ending. just click the episode 14 image, and then in the show description you'll see the link. check it out!

one last thing before signing off. we've had a few people think that this will be the last episode since we're out of spaces on the episodes page. this is not the case. Stan will still be very much alive and kicking next month. i'll just have to redesign the webpage, i suppose.

1. channel102.net is now called channel101 NY, as channel101 LA brings us into the fold.

2. the longest running show at channel101 was "classroom" with 13 episodes.

3. after the channel101NY screening last night, and since we are all one big channel101 family, we have now beaten "classroom" with the longest running channel101 show, The Defenders Of Stan episode 13, which also reclaimed our 1st place standing!

Okay. SOOOO. we've fixed the stupid javascript problem that many internet sucksplorer users were having in our "episodes" section. for whatever reason, IE really hates div layers. and although it is fixed, it still looks a little better in firefox. thanks for the heads up.

Welcome to our new, still crappy, website for The Defenders Of Stan.

We‘d like to thank Entertainment Weekly for mentioning us on their MUST LIST and making us get off our asses and get this thing ‘done‘.

So, to begin. We have a lot of things planned for the site. We are in the process of getting all of the videos in the "EPISODES" section converted to high(er) res versions (right now, we are just using the versions from channel102). Thanks to comcasts data rate limits, this process is taking forever. so thank you comcast, for making my job harder.

Next, to watch an episode in the "EPISODES" section, click the little thumbnail of the corresponding comic book cover. once you do, you‘ll get the episode number, the ‘air‘ date, an option to view a higher res version of the comic artwork, and a crappy synopsis we cobbled together just now without re-watching the episodes. you‘re welcome!

Following our getting the videos uploaded to our server, we‘ll be uploading all of them to our youtube so that you can plaster them around the internet like ‘W‘ stickers in the south.

The "DOWNLOADS" section has a Captain Ultra desktop image in 4 sizes and an mp3 of the "retro" theme song from Episode 8. We were going to do a ring-tone like the one featured in Episode 6, but then we realized no one would use it. So we quit. or would you? i just can‘t tell. We are also thinking about doing a screen saver, once we figure out what that screen saver might be. i‘m rambling now.

The "LINKS" section has every "The Defenders Of Stan" link i could think to include, but keep checking, because we MAY just be adding an official ‘The Defenders Of Stan‘ merch section, just too late for the holidays!
